Women'S MINISTRY

This impactful intergenerational ministry of hospitality brings together women who have raised adult children with younger women (married or single). Comprised of five mentors and eight mentees, each group meets once a month for the academic school year. Mentors rotate hosting, preparing a meal, and offering a craft or activity. Sometimes members enjoy cooking together and sharing recipes. Meetings are concluded with a group devotional or video series and a time of prayer. Any women interested in joining Heart Sisters are invited to sign up in September.

MOMS IN NETWORK TOGETHER is a fellowship of mothers with young children elementary age and younger.
This group meets monthly during the school year.  Time together includes breakfast, a speaker and discussion, and crafts or a service project.

The cost is $20 per semester or $5 per meeting.  Scholarships are available.

Childcare is provided by individuals who have been background-checked.

Living In Fellowship Together is a ministry for widowed women in our family at Hardin Valley.  It is a ministry to connect, encourage, and fellowship.

Sharing Our Love of Sisterhood is a ministry for single women over 50.  It is a ministry to connect, encourage, and fellowship.  This is for single women regardless of their situation: never married, divorced, or widowed.

This ministry gathers monthly in someone's home to fellowship, design cards, and have a light lunch together. Responsibility for the design and materials rotates among the ministry participants. Typically 2-3 cards are made at each gathering.

In support of Healing Hands International, this group sews backpacks, girl's dresses and boy's shorts that are placed in Magi Boxes sent across the world to help meet needs of children living in poverty.  

We meet the first Monday of the month from 10am-12pm and always have room for more seamstresses.  
We take donations of gently used adult t shirts, fabric for girl's dresses and heavy fabric for backpacks.

Game nights are planned quarterly as a way to spend time together in fun and fellowship.  The type of game varies but all are centered on relaxing and laughing together.
