Jason attended the University of Tennessee where he got a Media Arts Degree in photography and video. Upon graduation he moved to Atlanta and worked for Campus Church of Christ as their Media and Associate Youth Minister. After going back to school to get an Evangelism and Church Planting degree he taught Bible at Madison Academy outside of Huntsville Alabama before moving back to Knoxville to be the Christian Student Center Campus Minister and Director.

Jason has been the Preaching Minister at Hardin Valley since September 2025.  His primary role is to bring Bible based sermons during our Sunday morning worship. He loves making the Bible come alive and bringing people into a deeper, transformative, relationship with Jesus.  

Jason is married to Megan. They have two daughters, Maggie and Anniah, and a 15 lb Shih-Tzu, Tank.  They love to travel and are connoisseurs of specialty coffee.
