The purpose of the marriage ministry of Hardin Valley Church of Christ is to encourage married couples and those looking to be married to pursue a Christ-centered marriage through fellowship, mentorship, and biblical teaching. The marriage ministry is responsible for providing marriage enrichment activities, education and training for Hardin Valley families and the community. Some of our activities are listed below:

  • Plan marriage seminars and other marriage enrichment activities,
  • Outreach to the Hardin Valley community for all events
  • 2:42 Small Group for couples
  • Family game and movie nights
  • Marriage retreats
  • Mentorship
  • Monthly marriage articles in the Connection

The Bible provides a strong rationale for marriage as a foundation for society. Historical and sociological research shows a strong and direct correlation between the condition of marital relations and the condition of society as a whole. Healthy marriages promote healthy families; healthy families promote healthy communities; healthy communities support our ultimate interests in a healthy global village. The opposite is also true. The ripple effect of failed marriages flows like a tsunami across the landscape of our time outside the church as well as inside the church.

Join the HVCoC Marriage Ministry Team in our efforts to keep America and the community strong through Christ-centered marriages.
